Greetings from Nevada! I hope you are all having a great week.

There have been a lot of fun and interesting things going on at my house this week that I am excited to share. As I have noted before, my kids seem to do something new and fun every day. I know that I don’t go a day without smiling at something they are doing.

Their newest thing is…tah dah! We were watching gymnastics the other night, all of us and my kids were wondering around the living room putting their arms up and down, like the gymnasts were doing on the beam. It was so cute. I worked on tumbling with them, putting their arms in the air, bending over, doing a somersault and then saying tah dah and putting their arms up in the air.

Now, all I have to do is say, tah dah and they put their arms up and look for somewhere to try to do a somersault. It really is very cute. They also try to say tah dah, which is the cutest! It makes me smile just writing about it.

They are also saying more and more new words. Antonio says fish now and Analise has gotten a lot better at saying Elmo. They are both huge fans of Elmo and are liking Sesame Street a lot lately. They will sit and watch it while they eat breakfast. I don’t want them to watch TV all the time, but Sesame Street is ok. It is educational and may even teach them some Spanish.

Ok, now for the new news on my front. I have been in the running for a couple weeks now to work on a national account through my old job, continuing as a freelancer. This past Friday, the powers that be gave me a call and said they had decided that I was the perfect fit for the client.

This means I will now be working my tail off in addition to my duties as a full-time Mommy. I have also been doing the work on another account for them that I will continue to do. So, I will be putting in a minimum of 70 hours a month beginning now. I am excited for the challenge and a little nervous at the same time. I believe that I will be able to handle the workload, but am afraid of trying to balance it and the kids. I don’t want my children to feel neglected in any way, so I just have to make sure I devote enough attention to them too.

The client is a pretty cool one too. It is called Win 4 Charityä. It is a for-profit charity that holds online raffles with the benefits going to a large variety of non-profits. Any non-profit that is a registered 501(c)3 can sign up to receive funds. And the prizes they are giving away, lets just say I am sad that I’m not eligible to win because I work for their agency.

They have giveaways that include a new 2008 Honda Accord, tickets to the World Series, including airfare, they are going to have Super Bowl packages and many many more. I encourage all of you to look into it and register. You are able to sign up now, but the full website won’t launch until October 1, 2008. Go check it out…www.w4c.com. Let me know what you think if you get some time! And wish me luck making it known nationally!

Until next week, make it a great one!
