A Crews with the Kentucky Department of Highways in Nicholas County will replace a drainage pipe under KY 1244 (Sugar Creek Road) between Barterville and Rose Hill Road on Thursday, Aug. 28.
Construction will require temporary closure of the roadway at the culvert location from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. that day. Motorists may detour along KY 606 (Suggs Pike), KY 3314 (Rose Hill Road), US 68 and KY 1244.
Motorists should drive carefully in work zones, watch for workers and construction equipment, and be aware that construction activities are subject to change depending on weather conditions.
