The Gift of Forgiveness
PSALMS 103:1-12

I am thankful for God’s mercy, and forgiveness.

First of all I want you to know that God’s Forgiveness is for all, rich or poor, the old and the young, women and men of all colors.

1-God’s forgiveness is wide in scope. PS 32:1, Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered. (I Timothy 2:3,4, God our Savior; who wants to have all mankind to be saved.)

2-God’s forgiveness is quick. John 5:24, Verily, Verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation: but is passed from death unto life.

I John 1:9, If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Isaiah 1:18, Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crmson, they shall be as wool.

3-God’s forgiveness is thorough. PS. 51:2,7, Wash me thoroughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.

4-God’s forgiveness is based on love, not an performance, for God is Love. I John 4:14-16, and we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Savior of the world., Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, god dwelleth in him, he in God, And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is Love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.

5-God’s forgiveness is ours for the asking. Romans 10:13, For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

God’s forgiveness is, wide in scope, it is quick, it is thorough, it is based on Love, and it is ours for the asking.

Will you ask? If not why not?

Romans 6:23, For the wages of sin is death; but he gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
