Acting on a call from local pharmacist Rusty Lawrence, Carlisle Police Officer Brad Weaver has arrested a Ewing couple on drug related charges.

Weaver’s arrest citation says that Jennifer Buchanan called in a prescription to Carlisle (Rexall) Drug stating she was a representative from Dr. Michael Dunaway’s office and needed to call in a subscription for Brittney Lewis.
Weaver said Buchanan came to the Rexall Drug and picked up the prescription and, she was also in possession of a prescription from Dr. Gehring’s office, which was filled out in Mrs. Lewis’ name.
Officer Weaver, while in the process of arresting Jennifer Buchanan, ultimately charged Cody Buchanan, 23, also of Ewing. He told officers he had it in the vehicle for shoot oxycodone.

Weaver said he told Cody Buchanan earlier not to bring that kind of thing back to Carlisle again. “We don’t want that kind of thing here.”
