One man injured

Shortly before 5:30 p.m. on Thurs., Aug. 14, Logan Fryman of 368 W. Main St was attempting to replace the universal joints on his pickup truck. The rock Fryman used to chock the front tire was not large enough, so when he detached the drive shaft, the truck rolled forward, running over Logan’s legs and twisting his back. Fryman’s hand also became tangled on the drive shaft. The truck broke through the fence and rolled onto the back porch of Mary Cartmill of 366 W. Main St., breaking off three of the four roof supports. He was taken to the hospital to have his injuries evaluated. Sgt. Darrel Layne and Officer Brad Weaver were the investigating officers.
